Day 4 = favorite book

really hard to choose just one. I mainly read a lot of Stephen King or John Grisham. Maybe... "Lisey's Story" by Stephen King. It's about undying love and learning to live normally after your loved one dies, but still has a crazy element to it that attracts me to King's work. Marvelous book!

Day 5 = favorite quote

since I'm on my iPhone writing this, I'm kinda too lazy to find the exact quote. But, the quote is from Star Trek, when Captain Pike is talking to Jim at the bar after the fight. And he says something along the lines of:

"Are you gonna settle for less an ordinary life, or were you meant for something better? Something special?"

I've been applying that to my life a lot these days, especially reguarding college choices. I'm trying to convince myself to go for every dream I have, and not be weighed down by little stuff. I can do almost anything i want, as long as I really go for it.

Aaaand my ramble is done. Now I'll try to catch up on everyone else's posts!

This is a REALLY REALLY REALLY tough one. I have too many favorite songs. I guess I'll just go with two (sorry guys).

basically anything by pomplamoose is incredible and SUPER GOOD. this one is just really catchy and upbeat. close tie with "Hail Mary" for my favorite pomplamoose song.

once again, basically anything off of "writer's block" is PURE, PURE GOLD. that's the cd currently playing in my car. SO GOOD!!!!!

- consider starting NYU application.
- find every single college i've ever dreamed of going to and apply there
- find colleges i'd probably like to go to and apply there

So. I'm on a train right now from new canaan heading to grand central. And there is this dude in front of me, facing me, that looks EXACTLY like zach quinto from the nose up (minus the hair). Its honestly freaking me out. I can't stop staring at him and I think he's noticed cuz he's giving me this slightly menacing look, which is kind of the same as zq's "sexy" look and I cannot handle this right now!!! I want to take a picture of him, but at the same time, I don't want to get shot. Well, the train has become rather bumpy and my limbs are going numb. So... That's my entry for today.

so... stuff's pretty rad lately. corbin came over yesterday along with rachel, her sister, and her sister's friend. lulzy times were had. our fireworks show was pretty effin awesome, and we had fun blowing stuff up otherwise.

as of right now, i'm sitting on the computer, supervising my cousins playing my little pony (in MY celebration castle, omg). don't worry, lucie. they're only only using my ponies.

agenda for today:
- SHOWER. EPICALLY.

at&t is screwin me! i'd have to get a new plan to get the phone for 99$ or pay 599$. that doesn't make ANY SENSE to me. like... i'm very confused. i figured since the phone with the plan had been slashed down so low, the phone itself would cost less, too. dudn't make any sense. also, the guy at the at&t store i talked to was hitting on me and gave me his house number. fantastic.

my next upgrade is in november, but i'm whorin around on craigslist and ebay to see what i can dig up. i'm persistent, but i'm fa real.

This will be a ramble/asking for advice post. Brace yourself.

I think I might buy an iPhone. Now that the fancy new 3g ones are out, the old 3g are only 99$. I am planning on buying an iTouch in the future anyway, so why shouldn't I just save money and buy an iPhone for 200$ less? Makes more sense.

My blackberry is a good phone, but kinda inconvenient. The battery at times lasts 45 minutes and takes longer to charge. I didn't pay anything for the phone, so its not like I made a huge investment. And even if I try the iPhone and don't like it, it would only be 99$ down the toilet, and I could try to resell it.

The monthly cost of an iPhone would be the same as my blackberry, as I already have unlimited texting and data.

I think itd be a pretty good investment.

so, i just found the Sims 2 and i'm currently putting it on my laptop! i'm crazy excited!!! it's been way too long since i've played.

i have voice lessons in about an hour, which is kind of ironic, because i barely have a voice. i think abby's kids got me sick when they visited not too long ago. maybe we can just pick out my contest songs at my lesson today...

i accidentally ran over a baby sparrow at work yesterday and felt so awful for the rest of the day. how could anyone ever kill someone? if i felt so horrible taking the life of a baby bird, i don't think i could ever handle any other deaths (except for snakes in the yard while i mow... those crazy fools are too hidden!)

tomorrow is the last day of school (kind of). i only have my ap us history final, and then a scheduled 5th hour final, but 5th hour is just my aid hour. so i have 2 hours of sitting around, thinking. fantastic. at least sisters are coming tomorrow! not sure what time lucie and jonny are coming, but abby's getting in with her fam around 2:30 to kc.

i hope katie and joe like my uss enterprise model. it was way too expensive not to be enjoyed by many parties.

gotta go, corbin's WHINING about not seeing me for 3 days (hahahahahahahahaha)

ugh omg. i saw the killers last night, and it was so so so good. like... ridiculously good. they are so great. and they played jenny was a friend of mine!!! i loved it SO MUCH. i am so so happy.

it was the first concert i've ever been in general admission right up front, and i think i want every concert from now on to be like that. it was.... fantastic.
